The Sacrament of Baptism is the first of all sacraments. Through the waters of baptism our Lord washes us clean and makes us one of his beloved disciples. Moreover, the baptized are welcomed into communion with all other baptized individuals to form the Church. We receive this mission to baptize directly from Jesus who said in Matthew’s Gospel, “Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. (28:19-20)”
Our Parish celebrates baptisms on the second and fourth Sundays of the month at 12:30 p.m. Attendance at a Pre-Baptismal Class is mandatory for first time parents. Please call the rectory for more information and to schedule a baptism.
