Kids’ Mass: A Fun and Engaging Experience
Starting on Sunday, October 6th at the 9:30 mass, and continuing each 1st Sunday of the month, SS. Peter & Paul will host Kidz Mass!
Kidz Mass is specifically designed to make our Catholic faith accessible and enjoyable for children. It offers a unique blend of traditional worship and age-appropriate discussion that captivate young minds and hearts.
Fr. Ted is kicking off Kidz Mass to promote age-appropriate explanations of what we hear in the week’s readings. His homily will be tailored to children’s understanding, making it easier for them to connect with the Gospel message. We want kids to feel involved and connected at all Masses!
There are many other ways for children to feel connected during the liturgy. Here are just a few, all of which are offered to students of SS. Peter & Paul Catholic School:
- Children’s choirs: These choirs offer opportunities for children to showcase their talents and feel a sense of belonging.
- Children’s liturgists: Young people can take on leadership roles, such as reading or proclaiming the Gospel.
- Theological education: Introduce catechetical elements to help children learn more about the faith.
By making Mass more accessible and engaging, Kidz Mass can help children develop a love for the Catholic faith at a young age. It provides a positive and supportive environment where they can learn about God, grow in their spirituality, and form lasting friendships.
