Recommendations to act as Sponsors of Baptism or Confirmation are issued to registered parishioners who attend Mass and receive Holy Communion regularly; who, if married, have entered a ceremony performed in conformity with the regulations of the Catholic Church; and who, if they have children, enroll them in a Catholic school or Faith Formation class. Church Law requires that a Sponsor for Baptism or Confirmation be confirmed and we are not permitted to make exceptions to this rule.
