Troop 400’s Newest Eagle

Scout Troop 400, sponsored by SS Peter & Paul, congratulates Sam Lafko on achieving the rank of Eagle Scout. Sam began Scouting with Troop 509 and when that troop disbanded, he sought to continue hiscareer and transferred to Troop 400. He held key leadership positions within the Troop and earned a total of thirty-one merit badges. For his Eagle Service Project, Sam planned and designed the construction of anew information kiosk at the Anna Mae Bacon Bird Sanctuary. Working in coordination with the Village Environmental Commission, Sam acquired donations more than sufficient to cover the substantial costof the project and…
